Participations in our regular practice is free. Monetary donations called “DANA” in Buddhist lingo, to help support the Oberpfalz Yeon Hwa Am Zen Zenrtum will be gratefully accepted but are not required.

Your support is an important way to help the flowering of practice in the world. Your contribution will go to support the meditation programs, and help expand our dharma offerings. We offer our heartfelt gratitude for all your generous support and donations in the past. Please continue to join us to make the Zen teaching a simple, powerful benevolence that manifests in each of us and contributes to creating a world of sanity and open-hearted connection.

The biggest and most valuable contribution you can make to our little Sangha is not monetary. It is simply your participation, your willingness to dedicate some of your time and energy to come practice together with us regulary, is what our Sangha needs most of all.

DANA for invited teachers:

At the end of each retreat you are given the opportunity to offer a donation to the teacher. DANA is an invitation to participate in the spirit of generosity that has sustained this tradition and teaching for more than 2,500 years. Over the centuries it is this generosity that has enabled the creation of retreat centres, the support of monasteries and a whole range of social and peace practices and projects. It enables teachers to continue teaching and supports the very life and sustainability of the teaching.

Giving is to transform the mind of living beings,

there is a time when the mind transforms things,

and there is giving in which things transform the mind.
